Building with Heart
Building with Heart is an initiative of the Tarrant County building industry to build awareness of the impact of heart diseases and stroke in Tarrant County and surrounding areas. This networking event will bring premiere members of the building industry together to address the need to create a generation of lifesavers, who are equipped with CPR training.
Sudden cardiac arrest can happen any place, at any time. The best chance of surviving is to get CPR right away. Sadly, most of the time it doesn’t happen that way. The American Heart Association wants students to learn CPR before they graduate from high school, putting more qualified lifesavers in our communities every year.
Of the 350,000 people who have a cardiac arrest outside of a hospital each year, only 10% survive. Bystander CPR can double or triple the survival rate.
This year, sponsorships and ticket sales made to Building with Heart will be used to supply CPR in Schools Training Kits to Fort Worth ISD middle and high schools. Please join us in helping to create a new generation of lifesavers with our kids in Tarrant County schools.
