Join the American Heart Association and the Northeast Tarrant County community to learn more about women's heart health and raise life-saving funds. 1 in 3 women are dying from cardiovascular disease. It’s the No. 1 killer of women claiming more lives than all forms of cancer combined. Losing even one woman is not an option. There is good news. Women can significantly reduce their risk of heart disease and stroke through education and positive lifestyle changes. For two decades, the Go Red for Women movement has been advancing equitable research and care, advocating for inclusive health policies, providing opportunities for meaningful connections, and educating and empowering women on how they can take control of their health. The Hats for Heart Tea & Luncheon on December 4, 2025, will celebrate this movement and feature onsite health screenings and assessments, CPR demonstrations, an exciting silent auction, heartwarming survivor story, riveting fashion show and more. It will be a day to feel empowered, inspired and ready to make a difference! Building on over 100 years of trusted leadership in cardiovascular and brain health, by 2028 the AHA will drive breakthroughs and implement proven solutions in science, policy and care for healthier people and communities. The greatest discoveries in health must reach people where they are. Our future is about improving yours.
