Madrina Spotlight

Thank you Maria and Martha for being a part of Fort Worth Vestido Rojo

for the last 10 years!

Message From Our Madrinas....

Maria Mendez

Martha Bermea

In 2006, Martha Bermea  was invited to attend the First Vestido Rojo as a participant by her Community Health Worker Instructor from UNT Health Science Dr. Luna.  The event was hosted at the Northside Recreation Center in Fort Worth. After five years of being a participant, she became a Madrina after being highly encouraged by our previous Chair Ms. Cruz. Ms. Bermea is a Community Health Worker (CHW)-  and it is her mission to improve the health of the community.  She volunteers her time at the Northside Clinic and attends many informational health fairs to inform community members on services and benefits the center has to offer.  She finds Vestido Rojo to be a beautiful event for woman to attend. We appreciate her support and dedication for the last 10 years.
